Ten original compositions in homage to ten legends of rock, a dreamlike suite in seven movements, and a final piece focused on the tremolo technique. With\u00a0<\/i>Rock Moments, Maurizio Colonna continues the creative journey that began with the two volumes of Pop Studies for solo guitar and the one for two guitars.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

Confirming his predilection for compositions that are essential and therefore ideally suited to students, the author leaves a wide interpretive berth to teachers, though not without a few virtuoso passages.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/i>Rock Moments\u00a0are not covers of famous songs but original compositions that are intended to allow the so-called \u2018classical\u2019 guitar to transmit the electricity of rock, while retaining the nuances of timbre and rich dynamics associated with chamber music.
